Buñuelos Recipe

• 1 / 2 kg of wheat flour.
• 100 mL of vegetable oil or 100 g of butter.
• 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder.
• 1 / 2 teaspoon salt.
• 1 1 / 2 cups of cinnamon tea and / or anise, warm.
The dough may be exactly the same as for flour tortillas, but if you want to add some more flavor you can substitute water for mixing with tea and cinnamon or anise. Form little balls with the dough and spread in the same way you make flour tortillas, but instead of cooked on the griddle, fry by immersion in edible oil and as they are well fried (with a light golden color ) are taken out of the oil and left to drain well and then sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon powder and pours some syrup (brown sugar, maple or chocolate), being ready to taste.
