Molcajete Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
5 fresh serrano chiles
5 ripe tomatoes
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon salt
Procedure:
In an iron skillet or griddle, roast the chiles and tomatoes for 8 minutes or until tender. Peel and remove the burnt part of the tomatoes.
Molcajete or in a mortar, crush chilies and garlic. They are well mixed, add the tomatoes and continue grinding. Add salt. Serve in the same or in a Molcajete
